An event can connect through a tower, Starlink, or both. The venue network then serves gates, payments, production and guests.

Any venue, your uplink

Choose the connection that suits the venue.

An event does not need a permanent connection nearby. The uplink is chosen for the site, and the venue network is built on top of it.

01

Tower wireless

Where a tower connection is available near the venue, it can supply the event uplink. Availability depends on the location and a site assessment.

02

Starlink

Where there is no tower or fibre nearby, a Starlink terminal can be considered. It needs a clear view of the sky and a suitable position at the venue.

03

Both together

Tower and Starlink connections can be planned side by side where the event warrants it. Whether one can support the other is confirmed during design.

One venue, three kinds of traffic

Gates and payments

Ticket scanners and payment terminals need a dependable path. Your ticketing and payment providers supply their systems; we plan the connectivity they run on.

Production and streaming

Cameras, encoders and livestreams have their own bandwidth needs, planned separately from guests.

Guest Wi-Fi

Coverage and capacity for attendees, designed around the venue layout and expected concurrent users.

The scene above is illustrative; the uplink and venue network depend on the site. Need entry control as well? See our turnstile systems.

LayerConnectivity

Internet connectivity for the places and moments that matter.

The network behind your gates, bars and stage

Your ticketing, payment and streaming providers bring their own systems. Those systems depend on a network that is built for the venue: ticket scanning and vendor payments may need a different access plan from guest Wi-Fi, production or streaming. The venue layout, expected concurrent users, available power and the nearest usable connection all shape the design.

  • Identify the systems that must work, such as ticket scanning, payments and production.
  • Plan coverage around the actual venue layout and guest areas.
  • Choose an uplink for the site: tower wireless, Starlink or both, with the power and support the event needs.

This is important to

Event organiser

Plan connectivity around the event schedule, site and anticipated attendance.

Venue manager

Discuss access points, equipment placement and available power.

Production or vendor lead

Identify the connections needed for streaming, ticket scanning and payments.

Why Innovera for your event internet?

A flexible uplink

Choose between tower wireless, Starlink satellite internet, or both, depending on what is available at the venue. A field or car park without a nearby connection can still be considered.

Operational networks

Plan the connectivity that ticket scanners, vendor payment terminals, production and livestreaming depend on, according to your event needs.

Guest Wi-Fi

Consider coverage and capacity for attendees separately from essential event operations.

A plan for your event

Share the event date, duration, attendance, venue layout and critical applications. We can discuss an appropriate scope and quote for your event.

How to get started

01

Share the brief

Tell us the location, date, duration and expected attendance.

02

Review the venue

Discuss the layout, available power and applications that need connectivity.

03

Plan the connection

Review the proposed internet uplink, local coverage and support scope.

04

Prepare for the event

Coordinate the agreed setup and testing around your event schedule.

What information should I provide?+

Share the event location, date, duration, expected attendance, venue layout and critical applications.

How far ahead should I enquire?+

Contact us as early as possible so there is time to discuss the venue, connectivity and event requirements.

Can ticketing and guest Wi-Fi be separated?+

Network separation can be considered during the design. Tell us which systems need their own access.

Do you provide the ticketing system?+

We plan the internet and Wi-Fi that your ticketing and payment systems depend on. The ticketing platform and scanners come from your ticketing provider.

What if there is no tower or fibre near my venue?+

Starlink satellite internet can be considered for sites without a nearby connection, subject to a clear view of the sky and a site assessment.

What happens if a connection or power fails?+

Discuss your event’s continuity needs and the available power and connection options during planning.

Can you support livestreaming and guest Wi-Fi?+

Both can be discussed as part of the event brief. The appropriate connection and coverage depend on the site, usage and scope.

Are event packages available?+

Event requirements vary. Contact us with your venue and requirements for a tailored quote.
